Introducing Image Art and Design!

Ah, vacation snapshots. Whether you went to the beach, an exotic location, or the neighborhood park for a family cookout, you're bound to have gotten a few "gems" out of those hundreds of photos you snapped. In this digital age, often those photos get lost on the hard drive, stuck on the memory card, or generally buried under the deluge of images we take in a given year. Why not do something more with those favorite shots? Why not bring them out of the computer and into your home?

That idea has driven us here at Wendell Powell to start a new division, one that is aimed at taking your prized photos and turning them into artwork suitable for exhibition, be it in a gallery or your living room. We call it Image Art and Design. We have a lot of creativity and talent at our finger tips and we would like to share those gifts with you in a very personal way. Take this photo for example:

We can work with any photo you give us, whether it is of pets, children, family outings, sporting events, or favorite vacation spots, and turn it into one of a kind artwork. We can make photos look like water color paintings, black and white sketches, or abstract art, just to name a few, and give them the extra kick and punch they need through cropping and image enhancement. We can even take care of matting and framing your image so that it is ready to hang as soon as you walk out the door!

The hi-resolution DVD has been one of our most popular additions to our offerings in the past year, as it allows you to keep and use the images from you wedding day however you'd like. You can print, share, post, e-mail, use them on your cell phone, desktop, or Facebook page, whatever you can think to do with them, the images are yours.

If you need more than 6 hours of coverage or would like an extra photographer, we can absolutely work with you to create the perfect coverage for your wedding day.
